You deserve to take up space and to be exactly who you are.
It has always been my passion to make a meaningful, positive impact in the lives of others. I recognize that beginning therapy can be one of the hardest, and most courageous, steps in the healing journey. I see you, and I honor the strength it takes to show up for yourself in this way. As a strengths-based social worker, I believe every individual holds the capacity for growth, healing, and resilience. My role is to help you uncover and build upon your existing strengths, while offering support through life’s challenges. I strive to create a safe, affirming, and empowering space where you can feel seen, heard, and free to explore the most authentic version of yourself.
Our work together is rooted in a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. I hold space for your lived experiences while helping you reconnect with your inner resources, navigate transitions, and embrace your personal truth. Beyond the therapy room, I am deeply passionate about mental health reform and advocating for more accessible, equitable care. I believe that healing should not be a privilege. It should be a right. This drives my commitment to both individual transformation and broader systemic change, with the hope of helping to shape a more compassionate and inclusive mental health landscape.
I specialize working with children, adolescents, and adults. I can help you navigate healthy boundaries, self-esteem, intimacy and sex life concerns, communication, emotion regulation, anger management, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD. In our sessions, we’ll create a personalized plan of care that may include Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ACT, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches. I value flexibility and creativity in therapy, and together we’ll explore what resonates most with you. I also believe in a growth mindset, both for my clients and myself. I am committed to ongoing learning to continuously expand the tools and support I offer.
Harmony in the Desert
I was born and raised in Arizona and obtained both my bachelor’s and master’s in social work from Arizona State University. I have experience in a wide range of populations from inpatient services to outpatient care. I have worked in the mental and behavioral health fields with adults with mental or physical disabilities.
During my free time I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and son. I also enjoy playing music or teaching my son how the various instruments work. I am also passionate about supporting children and families through life’s natural struggles.
I would be truly honored to accompany you on this journey. It’s a privilege to support your growth and help you step into the person you aspire to become.
