Vulnerability is a Gift in the Therapy Space
Starting the therapy journey is often the hardest part! When it comes to mental health goals, healing is all about the process, and I’m here to support and encourage you every step of the way. I strive to create an open, collaborative, connected, and empathetic environment to foster healing and growth. With compassion, guidance, and judgment-free curiosity, I’ll help you achieve your therapy goals.
I provide individual counseling for ages 10 and up, including teens, young adults, and adults. I support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, relationship challenges, and much more. My approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Additionally, I utilize a trauma-informed perspective and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) Therapy.
Mountains to Mindfulness
I grew up in a small town on the western slope of Colorado and followed the mountains to Northern Arizona, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology. I later earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University. My counseling experience includes facilitating group therapy sessions at an intensive outpatient facility and providing individual care. I have a passion for working with young adults navigating the transition to adulthood – an exciting and often challenging life stage.
Outside of the therapy room, I love engaging in artistic and crafty projects of all kinds. Creativity and mindfulness are important aspects of my life, and I enjoy spending meaningful moments outdoors. I value quality time with family and friends and cherish adventures with my husband and our sweet chocolate lab puppy. We take every opportunity for road trips to explore new places together.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward self-growth, self-discovery, and self-compassion!
