Gentle guidance, grounded presence, meaningful change
I believe healing begins when you feel seen, safe, and genuinely supported. My approach is rooted in warmth, steadiness, and the understanding that every person carries resilience and the capacity to grow. I bring a calm, grounded presence to therapy – one shaped by clinical training as well as the wisdom gained through decades of real-life experience.
I work with teens age 15+, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship strain, identity exploration, family stress, and life transitions. My style is collaborative and person-centered, blending curiosity, encouragement, and honest reflection. I tailor each session to the individual, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based practices, and play-based or experiential techniques when appropriate. I also use practical coaching tools to support emotional regulation, clarity, and meaningful progress.
Clients often share that they feel deeply understood and comfortable in our work together. I value warmth, honesty, and the courage it takes to step into therapy – and I meet clients with compassion, patience, and grounded support.
Where Compassion Meets Courage
Before becoming a therapist, I spent decades raising a family, navigating major life transitions, and growing through the kinds of experiences that shape how we understand ourselves and others. Having lived abroad for 20 years, I gained a deep appreciation for how culture – in all its forms – shapes the way we think, feel, and experience the world. These chapters of my life deeply influence the way I show up in therapy today: steady, attuned, and genuinely invested in your healing.
Outside the therapy room, I treasure meaningful connection with loved ones, thoughtful conversation, and the everyday moments that make life rich. I bring these same values into my work – creating a space where you can explore, heal, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
I would be honored to support you through whatever chapter you’re navigating.
