Sometimes it can take a bit of hard work to live the good life you deserve!
Therapy is not always learning profound lessons about life but is often implementing the hard things that we already know instead. I feel truly honored to be part of the work you’ll do here.
Everyone comes to therapy with their own stuff – I am happy to meet you where you are and decide together what path we will take to achieve your goals and help support your needs. Our therapeutic relationship and your level of comfort and safety are my priority. I have personal experience on your side of the chair, and I know it can be uncomfortable to be so open. I am committed to providing a gentle and warm, while honest and accountable, environment for us to work in. You can achieve a full and satisfying life, even amid life’s inevitable struggles.
I work with children of all ages, teens, young adults, individuals, and families. I am comfortable exploring struggles such as anxiety, depression, addiction, grief and loss, communication issues, relationship management, core beliefs and self-esteem. Plus, I have five years of experience working with children and teens on the autism spectrum! My choice of therapy tools and methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. Therapy is not one size fits all – our sessions will be unique based on what you bring to session. Everybody is welcome!
Happy to be here in AZ
I am an Arizona lover and would be happy to live in my hometown, Tempe, forever. I received both my Bachelor of Psychology and Master of Counseling at Arizona State University. I decided to become a therapist when I was in middle school and my mind has never faltered; I know how important this work is! My biggest thing is spending time with my family, partner, friends, and cute pets. Being an aunt is my absolute favorite. I enjoy traveling, creative projects, spending time outside, and indulging in watching movies and eating treats.
I get genuinely excited about therapy – I love supporting people while they find their potential and start working toward living their best life. I am eager to meet you!
