I believe in the power of therapy.
Becoming a therapist was born out of my own personal journey with therapy and the incredible impact it has had on my life. I have learned that even a small change in perspective can produce positive results. Therefore, it’s my goal to help others experience similar outcomes in their own lives. As a therapist, I am here to listen, to reflect, and not to judge. I aim to create a truly safe space where you can be your most authentic self.
“Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.” – Virginia Satir
Throughout my life and career, I have worked in various industries and environments, so I bring a wealth of life and job experience to my practice. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and after working in that field for a few years decided to follow my true passion of therapy. I’m happy to have attained my Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling along with additional trainings in EMDR and Clinical Divorce, and I’m honored to be an LAC with the Claibourne Counseling team.
Nate’s a “Near-Native”
I have lived in Arizona for almost twenty years and consider myself to be a near-native. I have been in Scottsdale for the last few years with my wife, my daughter, and our fur baby. Outside of the counseling room, I try to take advantage of everything outdoors that Arizona has to offer like camping, hiking, golfing, and bike riding. I also strive to maintain a regular yoga and mindfulness practice for my own personal well-being.
Nate’s Clinical Supervisor is Tailor Bailey, LMFT – AZBBHE License #16038.
