You don’t have to carry the hard stuff alone.
Therapy can be a supportive, steady place where you don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t need the right words or a clear plan – feeling unsure or nervous at first is completely normal. My role isn’t to fix or judge, but to walk alongside you as you make sense of what feels heavy, confusing, or overwhelming. Some people come with a clear goal. Others simply know something feels off. Either way, I meet you where you are – and we take things one step at a time.
I work with adults, couples, children ages 8+, and teens who are navigating anxiety, burnout, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, and identity exploration. I have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent and DDD individuals and their loved ones, as well as caregivers experiencing burnout, and those coping with chronic or terminal illness and complex grief. I also provide a warm, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ clients.
My style is warm, honest, flexible, and trauma-informed. I draw from CBT, Narrative Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches, but in real life that simply means we look at patterns, talk about what’s coming up for you now, and stay curious about what might help. We move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. At the heart of my work is the belief that you don’t have to carry things alone. Therapy is a place to slow down, feel supported, and better understand yourself in a way that feels steady, grounded, and human.
Shaped by Life’s Experiences
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University, am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Grief Educator through David Kessler’s organization. My work is shaped just as much by life experience as by training. I returned to school later in life after raising a family and moving to Arizona over 20 years ago, and I bring that perspective into the therapy room.
My experience in behavioral and mental health settings has given me a grounded, real-world understanding of how complex life can be. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, paddleboarding, hiking, or taking care of my slightly chaotic crew of pets.
When you’re ready, I’m here to help you make sense of what feels heavy and find your footing again.
