I’m focused on establishing a secure and trusting partnership so you can be free to explore your experiences and needs. Together we can examine some of the challenges that arise within yourself and others. My approach is based on honoring the individual and recognizing opportunities for growth in a comfortable, supportive environment. Every individual and family I work with has a unique story to tell and it would be a pleasure to hear yours!

I have experience working with children (5 & up), teens, transitional age youth, adults, and families in areas such as mood disorders, trauma, substance abuse, difficulties with co-parenting, issues related to learning disabilities, and the challenges of various life-stage transitions. My training is extensive and covers a wide array of therapies, such as Structured Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy techniques. I set treatment goals in collaboration with you in order to get results.

From the Golden State to the Valley of the Sun…

I spent the last 4 years providing individual and family therapy in the San Francisco Bay Area, primarily working with children and teens with educationally related mental health needs. I provided one on one behavioral support within a school environment, in addition to weekly individual and family therapy sessions. These families ultimately found new ways of communicating and relating to each other resulting in improved functioning in a school environment.

A native of Northern California, I’m now thrilled to be living in the desert with its natural beauty and welcoming community. In my free time I enjoy running, spending time outdoors, cooking, and chasing after my three daughters.
