Fertility Issues

Fertility issues are when a couple or solo individual has difficulties when trying to become pregnant. This can be incredibly hard on the individual(s) and relationships. People experience immense amounts of grief, loss, and other feelings that can cause anxiety and even turn into a deep depression. How an individual manages the feelings surrounding infertility can depend on life experiences and perspectives and outside support can be extremely helpful.

It is important to address not only the physical but the psychological issues related to infertility and the exhausting ups and downs.

How can therapy help with fertility issues?

Therapy can be a good choice while going through the process of trying to have a baby to offer support, positive motivation, and validation. It’s important to start parenthood off with a healthy mindset.

At Claibourne Counseling, we offer support for individuals and couples navigating the parenthood journey.
